The Educator is excited to announce that Federal Education Minister Jason Clare will be attending the Australian Education Awards 2026, which will be held on Friday 7 August 2026 at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney.
Minister Clare will be amongst hundreds of principals, deputies, department heads and teachers converging at the event to recognise and celebrate the best that Australian education has to offer across 29 categories, including the nation awards of Australian School of the Year and Australian School Principal of the Year.

Entertainment on the night will include performances by international vocalist Teegan Bishop, who has graced stages from Hong Kong Disneyland to New York’s Lincoln Centre, blending Pop, RnB and Funk with magnetic stage presence to deliver unforgettable, high-energy performances worldwide.
The event’s MC will be Dave Hughes, who Rolling Stone magazine listed as one of top 50 living Australian and NZ entertainment Icons. A long-time star of radio and television, Hughes has performed stand-up comedy all over the world and has 266k followers on Instagram.
