The Educator has opened nominations for Rising Stars (& School Leadership Award) 2026. The 11th annual showcase will once again spotlight the young professionals making a real impact in Australia’s K–12 education sector.
Last year’s report featured inspiring educators who introduced innovative programs, championed student wellbeing, and led their schools through significant challenges.
If you know someone who deserves to be recognised – or if you’d like to put yourself forward – submit your nominations by Friday, 5 December.
Nominees must be aged 35 or under as of 31 March 2026, working within the K–12 education sector in Australia, and able to demonstrate leadership, innovation and achievement in their careers. Candidates should also have no more than 10 years’ industry experience.
The Rising Stars (and School Leadership Award) report will be published online in April.
