Even if it seems nowadays as though you can’t swing a dead cat (or even a live one, although please don’t!) without coming into contact with AI, the technology is still in its relative infancy. It is still wonky at times, and is often prone to hallucinations and picking up other mistakes from across the interwebz. True, it is often a convenient spot to start your search, but until proven otherwise, it’s imperative to check your sources for accuracy and reliability.
Good news! If you have sources you know and trust, Google now allows users to select those sites as “Preferred Sources,” which will appear in the top spots of its search results.
So obviously you want to know how can you select Tech & Learning as a Preferred Source, right? Thanks for letting me ask on your behalf!
When using Google Search on news topics, there will be a star icon next to the “Top Stories” section. Click on it and then you can search for Tech & Learning, which you can then add.
If you don’t see Tech & Learning in the list of stories, or just want to go right to the source, you can add us as a Preferred Source by clicking this link (opens in a new window):
